 Professor of PHC at Columbus State | With over 30 years of teaching experience, currently as Adjunct Professor at Columbus State in Ohio, Jim has specialized in teaching arboriculture courses. Perhaps he is best known for his Integrated Pest Management Course. He has also done field trials for various new chemical products. Jim owned and operated a tree care company for 10 years and successfully put all of his knowledge into practice. In addition to teaching, Jim is still a working arborist as well as providing consulting services. |
 Lab Director | Keith Maurer has loved horticulture since he was a teenager, mowing lawns. Then came the BS in Horticulture, business owner, pioneer in organic-based plant care, Operations Coordinator at Philadelphia Green, and founder of the Horticultural Program at Williamson Trade School. Keith now oversees the development and manufacture of Nature’s Pro food-grade nutritional products, is Director of the Prescription Soil Analysis lab and does consulting. With his extraordinary background, Keith brings a depth of knowledge and expertise that is valued by all who speak with him. |
